Terms of Service

This is a placeholder terms of service for the mockup. Before launch, replace with Albert's real terms — either drafted by a lawyer or generated from a template with Altitude Academy's business details filled in.

1. Agreement

By using the Altitude Academy website or registering for any program, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Programs and services

Altitude Academy offers mentorship programs, both online (Summit to Self) and in-person (seasonal outdoor sessions). Program details, pricing, and schedules are subject to change.

3. Payment and refunds

Program fees are due at the time of registration. Payment is processed securely via Stripe.

Summit to Self cancellation and refund policy:

• Full refund if you cancel more than 20 days before the cohort start date.
• 50% refund if you cancel between 10 and 20 days before the cohort start date.
• No refund within 10 days of the cohort start date.

In-person session cancellation policies vary by session and will be provided with your booking confirmation.

4. Assumption of risk

Outdoor programs involve inherent risks including but not limited to: physical exertion, exposure to weather, altitude, water, and natural hazards. By participating, you acknowledge these risks and agree that you are participating voluntarily at your own risk.

A separate waiver will be required before participation in any in-person session.

5. Code of conduct

Altitude Academy is a respectful, inclusive environment. Participants agree to treat each other, staff, and the natural environment with care. We reserve the right to remove anyone from a program whose behavior threatens the safety or well-being of others, without refund.

6. Intellectual property

All program curriculum, written materials, and content are the intellectual property of Altitude Academy. Participants may use materials for personal growth but may not redistribute or teach them commercially without permission.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
